A specialized department in constructing bridges, and its activities vary to include water and drainage projects, public buildings, and tunnels. It has contributed to achieving development plans by implementing most of the major and vital projects in Greater Cairo and the governorates of Egypt, by applying the latest technologies in the field of construction with the best standards of quality and accuracy.

One of the industrial castles of the Arab Contractors Company Massara shipyard was established at the beginning of the seventies of the last century which works in the construction of the marine projects such as bridges (Over the river Nile), sea ports and breakwater

READY MIXED CONCRETE

1. Light Weight Concrete (LWC)

Its density varied from 1000 to 2000 kg/m³ using light-weight aggregate to produce concrete according to the required density and criteria.

2. Heavy Weight Concrete

Its density varied from 2500 to 4000 kg/m³ using heavy-weight aggregate to produce concrete according to the required density and criteria.

3. Normal Weight Concrete

By using Normal Portland Cement or Sulfate Resistant Portland Cement, admixtures & silica fumes with different operating methods varied according to the pouring type. The cube compressive strength ranged between 100 kg/cm² to 4000 kg/cm² after 28 days.

4. Highly Performance Concrete

By using Normal Portland Cement or Sulfate Resistant Portland Cement, admixtures & silica fumes. The cube compressive strength reaches 800 kg/cm² after 28 days.

5. Special concrete

Using admixtures, polyethylene, polypropylene increased resistance to cracks, tension and enhance concrete durability.

6. Early Age Crack Resistance Concrete

The cube compressive strength reaches 200 kg/cm² after 24 hours by using special admixtures. By using highly operating method in pouring the concrete the cube compressive strength reaches 200 kg/cm² after an hour.

Since its establishment until now, the company's laboratories management has been providing laboratory services to the company's branches, sectors and major projects of the company. The management also provides these services to clients from outside the company. The management covers this activity through various management units that have been equipped with the latest equipment and testing devices and with engineers and technicians with extensive experience in this field.

Tunneling Works :

Tunneling is the best solution to overcome problems of Open cut excavation in the crowded and heavy traffic areas and also deal with lots of underground utilities. Tunneling designed to work in deep areas below the underground water level to avoid the risk of dewatering which affects the surrounding buildings.

All tunneling activities are controlled automatically from the control unit beside the cutting head or the cabinet on top of the ground level. The ( AC-Tunnels and Slip Forms Department ) has Tunneling & Micro-tunneling machines 500, 600, 700, 1000, 1200, 1500, 1800, 2200, 2500 and 3200 mm diameter, which was used successfully in several projects all over Egypt.

Its primary mission is the design, implementation, and maintenance of highway networks, national axes, and main roads that connect governorates and cities. It implements (dual carriageways and freeways without traffic intersections, the construction of transverse and longitudinal axes for regional roads, and the implementation of heavy pavement layers that can withstand high loads from heavy transport).

It is one of the most important departments in the company, and its main role is to provide highly trained technical labor to support branches and departments throughout the country with skilled workers (reinforced carpentry, reinforced ironwork, technical workers for metal scaffolding, etc.).

It is a specialized service department within the company whose primary role is transporting heavy equipment, construction materials, and precast elements between central workshops and sites, and sometimes between projects across the country. This is achieved through its own fleet of transport vehicles and skilled, trained personnel capable of transporting concrete beams, bridge columns, and excavation equipment.

This is a specialized department within the company responsible for the exploitation and operation of quarries for raw materials needed for construction and road works. It is the company's primary internal source for providing (aggregate, gravel, sand, rubble, etc.) used in the manufacture of concrete, paving, and foundations, using the latest quality standards in accordance with Egyptian and international specifications.
