Engineer Abdel Mottaleb Emara, Governor of Luxor, inaugurated the wastewater treatment station of Al-Rayayna Village, where he witnessed the actual start-up, the commissioning of the station, and the operation of the wastewater networks, as part of the projects of the Presidential Initiative “Haya Karima.” The inauguration was attended by Dr. Hisham Abu Zaid, Deputy Governor; Engineer Rokaya Hammad, Head of the National Authority for Potable Water and Sanitary Drainage in Luxor; Major General Ahmed Ramadan, Chairman of the Board of Luxor Drinking Water and Sanitation Company; Mr. Ali Othman, Head of Armant City and Center; and Engineer Mahmoud Younes, Manager of the South Valley Branch at Arab Contractors, the executing company. He stated that the project includes gravity sewer networks with a total length of 17.5 km, four pumping units with a capacity of 170 liters per second per pump, and is designed to serve a population of 30,169 residents of Al-Rayayna Village, including its affiliated hamlets and settlements. The inauguration was also attended by Engineer Mohamed Hassan El-Addeisy, Deputy Branch Manager, and Engineer Ahmed Abdel Nasser, Armant Projects Manager.
