As part of Alexandria Governorate’s ongoing efforts to upgrade and enhance the governorate’s archaeological and tourist areas, and in accordance with the directives of Eng. Ayman Attia, the Alexandria Branch of The Arab Contractors participated in the rehabilitation and development of the area surrounding the Citadel of Qaitbay, one of the city’s major tourist attractions frequented by residents of Alexandria as well as Egyptian and international visitors. Eng. Mohamed Kotb, Director of the Alexandria Branch, stated that the works include maintenance of the Corniche wall adjacent to the citadel, in addition to the repair and rehabilitation of the stamped concrete pedestrian walkways, contributing to restoring the bright and distinguished image of Alexandria.
