About the Project

Gerga Axis Bridge built on the shore of the River Nile in Sohag, with total length 10km and width 21m. it is consisting of navigational pathway with 130 ml allowing the passage of all the ferries, boats and cruise ships in both directions. It represents a vital artery for the Southern centers of the governorate.
It is saving the efforts of the movement from the East and West of the River Nile between Gerga and Dar El Salam, as it was limited to the river ferries linking Cairo - Aswan agricultural road which is East of the River Nile and Sohag - Red Sea Road and Cairo- Aswan agricultural road West of the Nile
