About the Project

It connects Sinai Peninsula to the main land of Egypt over Suez Canal. The project is of strategic importance to Egypt as it caters for the requirements of the emerging economical and social development in Sinai. The project was contracted to three main contractors, whereby the Arab Contractors was in charge of the works in the East portion of the bridge. The bridge has the highest clearance in a navigation area ever built as it has a free navigation height of 70m. Our scope of work included the construction of a prestressed concrete bridge as well as the associated road network in the Eastern Part of the bridge
