Major General Ashraf Attia, Governor of Aswan, received in his office a delegation from Arab Contractors, headed by Engineer Emam Afifi, Vice Chairman of the Board, along with Engineer Ibrahim Mabrouk, Board Member; Engineer Mahmoud El-Sharnouby, Head of the Electromechanical Projects Sector; and Engineer Hassan Mostafa, Supervisor of Upper Egypt Sectors, to review the progress rates of the ongoing projects implemented under the Presidential Initiative for the Development of the Egyptian Countryside, “Haya Karima”.

The Governor of Aswan affirmed— in the presence of Deputy Governor Ahmed Shaaban and Engineer Susan Metwally, Head of the Projects Authority at the National Authority for Potable Water and Sanitary Drainage— the importance of coordination with ministries, authorities, and executive bodies to overcome obstacles before and during project implementation, in order to accelerate execution rates in accordance with the approved timelines, while ensuring high standards of quality.
On another front, the company’s delegation, accompanied by Engineer Ahmed Rashad, Head of the New Aswan Authority, toured the city’s projects. This was followed by a meeting at the branch administration to review the Haya Karima projects, attended by: Engineer El-Sayed El-Ansary, Head of the Assiut and North Upper Egypt Sector; Engineer Yasser Ghoneim, Manager of the South Valley Branch; Engineer Sayed Hassan, Manager of the Assiut Branch; Engineer Yasser Mahsoub, Manager of the North Upper Egypt Branch; Engineer Mahmoud Younes, Manager of the Red Sea Branch; Engineer Ihab Gamal, Assistant Board Member; Engineer Ayman Tohfa, Project Manager of Haya Karima in Upper Egypt; Engineer Emad El-Zouq, Assistant Sector Head; Engineer Hisham Mahdy, Deputy Project Manager of Haya Karima in Upper Egypt; Engineer Asaad El-Sadeq, Director of Follow-up at the Office of the Vice Chairman; and Mr. Mohamed Hatl, Project Financial Manager.
Subsequently, the company’s delegation— accompanied by Engineer Susan Mohamed Metwally, Head of the Executive Authority of the National Authority in Aswan Governorate, and Engineer Mahmoud Hassan, Director of Electromechanical Works at the National Authority— inspected the Nasr El-Nuba and Haya Karima projects, where they were received by Engineer Ihab Abdel-Latif, Deputy Branch Manager and Director of the Edfu and Kom Ombo Projects.
