In the context of strengthening bilateral relations between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Turkey, Arab Contractors Company participated as part of a high-level Egyptian delegation in the 2025 Turkish Contractors Association Conference, held in the Turkish capital, Ankara. The conference brought together leading figures from the construction sector in both countries. The Egyptian delegation included Eng. Hamdi Shehata, Board Member of the Egyptian Federation of Construction and Building Contractors and Secretary-General of the Arab Contractors Association, and Eng. Lobna Shetla, Director of Business Development, Strategic Studies, and Marketing at Arab Contractors Company. The conference was attended by prominent figures from both sides, including Mr. Wael Badawi, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Ankara; Mr. Ali Pasha, Minister Plenipotentiary and Head of the Egyptian Commercial Representation Office in Turkey; Mr. Erdal Eren, President of the Turkish Contractors Association; Mr. Fuat Kasımcan, Secretary-General of the Turkish Contractors Association; Mr. Ater Hanoura, Head of the Central Unit for Public-Private Partnerships at the Ministry of Finance; as well as delegations from Egyptian and Turkish contracting companies, representatives of several Egyptian and Turkish banks, and a number of other attendees. Engineer Lobna Shetla also delivered a speech, reviewing the most prominent projects of the Arab Contractors Company both within Egypt and abroad, reflecting the company's position as one of the largest contracting companies in the Middle East and Africa. She emphasized the deep historical ties between Egypt and Turkey and the importance of developing them through strategic partnerships and joint projects that serve the interests of both countries. On the sidelines of the conference, the company's delegation held a series of bilateral meetings with several senior representatives of Turkish companies and the Turkish Export-Import Bank (Turk Eximbank) to discuss opportunities for cooperation and investment in infrastructure and development projects within Egypt and abroad. This participation underscores the Arab Contractors Company's commitment to strengthening its regional and international presence and supporting joint development efforts between Egypt and Turkey, contributing to the launch of effective alliances and joint projects that enhance the progress of construction and economic cooperation between the two countries.
