Eng: Ahmed mohamed El-Assar

Biography

Eng. Ahmed El-Assar is one of the leading figures in construction and civil engineering in Egypt and the region. He began his career with Arab Contractors in 1996, progressing through a wide range of technical and leadership roles until he assumed the position of Chairman. He has contributed significantly to the execution and leadership of major infrastructure projects both inside Egypt and abroad, and played a key role in shaping the strategic vision of the departments under his supervision, particularly the Bridges and Foundations Department.

• Oversight of major national and international infrastructure projects.
• Developing a unified vision and strategic plan for affiliated departments, especially the Bridges and Foundations Department.
• Leadership of large-scale projects in:
  • Roads and bridges
  • Water and wastewater treatment
  • Housing and infrastructure
  • Grain silos
  • Universities and public service buildings
  • Urban development

• Oversight of silos in Borg El-Arab, El-Hammam, and Kafr El-Dawar
• Oversight of Matrouh strategic reservoirs
• Supervision of Matrouh water pipelines and Sidi Barrani desalination plant
• Execution of main water pipelines for the cities of Damanhour, Kafr El-Dawar, Abu Homs, El-Mahmoudia, and Edko
• Structural works for Sawfat Business Towers – Smouha
