About the Project

The Cairo Tower is a free-standing concrete tower in Cairo, Egypt. It is the most outstanding architectural masterpiece built by the Egyptians. The design is inspired by the lotus flower. Cairo Tower is 187 meters height; it is 43 meters higher than the Great Pyramid of Giza. The capsule at the top of the tower contains a revolving restaurant, cafeteria and outdoor public viewing deck. For its importance the Egyptian government has taken the decision to renovate it. The Cost of repairs and rehabilitation process is 15 million EGP. The scope of work: Restoration and repairing of the concrete tower. Construction of 3 additional metal structures beneath the restaurant. Building of another floor directly above the main entrance. Construction of emergency ladder and elevator for visitors beside the entrance. Re-finishing of the existed floors.
